Aim

Support of application-oriented cooperation projects between Austrian higher education institutions/research institutions and institutions in countries of the Global South

Supported are

mobility and material expenses for researchers at Austrian and international higher education institutions/research institutions in countries of the Global South within the framework of one- to three-year research projects. The programme is open to all scientific disciplines.

Depending on the duration of the project the funding amounts are up to EUR 50,000.- Euro per project.

Eligible partners in the global South are

higher education institutions/research institutions in Non-European countries on the current OECD DAC list of the categories "Least Developed Countries” “Other Low Income Countries” “Lower Middle Income Countries and Territories” (except India).

Both Austrian higher education institutions/non-university research institutions and higher education institutions/non-university research institutions of a country of the Global South that is eligible to apply can submit an application. Application agency is the OeAD-GmbH.
